-Authentic, Original Republic of Texas One Dollar Note signed July 1, 1841 by James Harvey Raymond

-On the left side of the $1 note shown is an Indian brave with a bow and a quiver of arrows across his back.  In the center is a representation of Ceres as a bare-breasted maiden, seated in agriculture as symbolized by the wheat and plowshares.  At the bottom of the note is a small eagle with outstretched wings, and the right side depicts the denomination 1, with "One" superimposed on a five-pointed star, surrounded by a ribbon with microprinting of "ONE DOLLAR" in a continuous loop.
